Blendiberia meetings are a lot like B-Confs or like going to the pub next door: There are always some new faces, there might be one or two of the oldies missing, but it’s guaranteed you are going to have a good time and remember thousands of tiny anecdotes.

This was no exception. Thanks a lot to the organizing comitee, particularly to Antonio Lopez and the guys from Suresnet (especially Manolo !), for taking care so well of me and having organized this meeting !

Here there’s a bunch of pics from our trip to San Cristobal, Venezuela where we gave workshops on Modelling, Shading, Rendering, Postproduction, Animation and Rigging with my friends Pablo “venomgfx”Vazquez and Daniel “Zanqdo” Salazar.

We traveled invited by producer Romulo del Valle and director Ernesto del Valle, leaders of the Historias Nativas project
It was a great time we had, and the students were terrific. They were very talented people and did a great job.

This August 14th I’ll be flying to the Bolivarian Lands to give a rigging course to the talented artists recruited by Ernesto Del Valle for his project Historias Nativas.

Besides Ernesto, whom I met in the past Blender Conference, I will meet another venezolan comrade: Xavier “Rendergraf” Araque with whom we shared a few days during the IV Foro del Conocimiento Libre.

And if this was little, there will also be Pablito VenomGFX Vazquez, and nutcase Daniel Zanqdo Salazar, two old fellow adventurers !

My mission will be to explain how to rig a thing in Blender and introduce the guys to the Blender Animation System. I hope to satisfy everyone’s expectations and not to forget how to parent one bone to the other ! !

I have received an invitation for an exhibition of Hisk Institute graduates in Gent, Belgium. Reading the names of the graduates, I realized some of them were students in the Blender Course we gave with Jason last year, and somehow I felt suddenly happy.
