OK, it’s over, gone. Now I recall it and it seems it was something in my imagination, so I look at the pictures to make sure it was real. And yes it was !

Last thursday and friday, David Sproxton and Peter Lord, founders of Aardman Animation Ltd,  one of the most important animation studios in the worldno doubts about it, creators of Chicken Run, Wallace & Gromit, Flushed Away and hundreds of shorts and TV series were present at the Festival de Mar del Plata to give a couple of talks.

We been there, enjoying a really nice talk, where they told many details and anecdotes about the creation of their great films. (more…)

This last saturday March 10th we presented the new Plumiferos’ trailer and some extra stuff at the 22nd Festival de Cine de Mar del Plata.

Mar del Plata is “THE” beach city of Argentina, and its cinema festival is the most important one in the country. For these reasons, paying a visit to the city and feel the festival ambient is always something to remember. We travel five hours in a car: Agustín, Gustavo, Pico and I (four of the six ManosDigitales) plus a huge Plumiferos’ cardboard sign over our heads that left us a terrible neck pain. But in Mar del Plata the Sheraton Hotel was awaiting us with an incredible room and a pool with climatized seawater (!) where we had a royal relaxing session.

After months without doing anything for my site, two things happened. One, I decided to move into a blog style site. Two I lost my malefico3d.com.ar domain due to my cronical lazyness and the stupidly burochratic system at nic.ar .

Anyway, here I am now, with a brand new malefico3d.org which has a lot more sense, with own server and webspace !

Many things to do. First traslate many many tutorials I wrote in spanish for beginners at rigging. Then write some new ones in both english and spanish with all the crazy ideas I’ve been developing for Plumíferos.

Now, I’d like to thank Ivan Hoffmann, for his patience, Venom for the tips, and Bassam for being such a nice gentle person .
