Latest issue of BlenderArt Magazine includes among very interesting articles, one I wrote about the making of the “Fantasy Landscape” image I posted some time ago.

I got this idea while doodling an old train from the Subte A subway train from Buenos Aires. In a dark apocalyptic future people live crowded and packed in huge babel towers surrounded by an endless sea… with no beaches.

(propaganda mode) So people will enjoy their holidays at the B.E.A.C.H. (Beautiful Environment Assigned for Communal Holidays) the vacation program brought by the Government that cares about the Right People (end propaganda mode)

Do you believe it ? Naaaaa…. just a moment’s delusion… and an excuse to practice my re-discovered old love for drawing and painting. I made these sketches in pencil, scanned them, and paint this one with MyPaint. Then took it to Gimp, color corrected, and finished painting it there… with the help of Ivan’s tablet (I’m tempted not to return the damn thing !)….
